WVMDA Events

WVMDA events bring patients, caregivers, medical professionals, volunteers, and supporters together throughout the year. They give people a place to learn, meet others in the community, and support programs that help local families. Explore our annual golf tournament and Parkinson’s and Movement Disorder Symposium below.

WVMDA Tour Golf Tournament

Teeing Off for Tremor, Parkinson’s, and Other Movement Disorders

The WVMDA Tour is our annual scramble golf tournament at Creekside Golf Course in Lavalette, West Virginia. Golfers, sponsors, and volunteers spend the day together while raising money for the patient grant program. Those grants may help people in our area with copays, physical therapy, transportation, mobility equipment, home ramps, and other needs that come with living with a movement disorder.

2026 Tournament

This year, teams of four hit the course for a scramble, with prizes and an awards banquet waiting at the end. We’re grateful to every golfer, sponsor, and volunteer who showed up for WVMDA.

The WVMDA Tour returns each year. We'll post information about the next tournament here as plans are finalized.
