Help Lighten the Load
Sometimes the hardest part of getting care is everything that comes with it—the long drive, another copay, weeks of physical therapy, or equipment a family did not expect to need. WVMDA’s patient grant program was created to help with some of those expenses. When you donate, you help make that assistance available to patients and caregivers in our area.
Your Donation Helps Local Families
Money given to WVMDA helps fund grants for people with movement disorders in West Virginia, eastern Kentucky, and southern Ohio. Depending on the request, a grant may help with:
- Travel to medical appointments and procedures
- Medical and medication copays
- Physical therapy
- Power chairs, scooters, and other mobility equipment
- Accessibility ramps
- Other expenses related to care and mobility
Every gift helps WVMDA respond to more patients and caregivers who turn to us for help.
